How do you "Edit" my photos?

I think the term "editing your photos" could be a little misleading. It conjures up images of underexposed photos or poorly composed images being cropped in post-processing. So what am I doing with your photos? And what takes so long?
I had someone call me the day after a wedding and tell me they couldn't access the photos online. While I am quick... I'm not that quick.
So I thought I'd give three quick examples. This gives you a general idea of what I do.  There are times especially when I'm shooting a wedding that the exposure may need to be corrected a little in post processing. But as you'll be able to see here, more or less what I do is Enhance.
Each photographer has their own post-processing style, while some do zero post-processing. So it's important when talking to your prospective photographer to make sure that your ideas match up as to what the finished product will look like. When they say "I'm good at Photoshop" does that mean their photos need to be fixed or just enhanced?
So here's some examples of what I'm talking about:

As you can see there's not a HUGE difference. The original picture is not manipulated away. However it's a nice pop of color.
One of the services I provide is enhancing your personal photos. Please contact me on my website "About" page to learn more!
