Now it's time for some fun!!
And what's love without an epic water balloon battle??

Lizz + Bender's Wedding

May 18, 2013 Lizz and Bender said their "I Do's" in the beautiful Delaware Water Gap Country Club, while the rain poured down outside.
The rain cleared up providing us a lovely overcast mood for a successful portrait session.
Congrats Lizz and Bender!

Spotlight: Engagment Portraits

Engagement Sessions, how I love thee. I'd say most of us aren't models. So we aren't used to having our pictures taken.  In fact it's probably very difficult to find a picture of me anywhere.. but I'm always awkward in front of the camera.  That's where the importance of an Engagement Session comes in.
Most of us haven't had a portrait session since we've gotten out of school, so we arrive on our Wedding day all pretty and handsome and a stomach full of butterflies. Then we catch a glimpse of the photographer with his/her big lenses coming at us... and we cringe. Or.. could we be relieved? Well if we had just had a successful Engagement session a few months or year earlier, it may feel like an old friend is there by our side, there to get our best side. We got our photography jitters out at the engagement session and we realized.. "Hey I'm pretty photogenic!"
So without any further ado I present just a few of my recent photogenic couples and their engagement sessions.

How do you "Edit" my photos?

I think the term "editing your photos" could be a little misleading. It conjures up images of underexposed photos or poorly composed images being cropped in post-processing. So what am I doing with your photos? And what takes so long?
I had someone call me the day after a wedding and tell me they couldn't access the photos online. While I am quick... I'm not that quick.
So I thought I'd give three quick examples. This gives you a general idea of what I do.  There are times especially when I'm shooting a wedding that the exposure may need to be corrected a little in post processing. But as you'll be able to see here, more or less what I do is Enhance.
Each photographer has their own post-processing style, while some do zero post-processing. So it's important when talking to your prospective photographer to make sure that your ideas match up as to what the finished product will look like. When they say "I'm good at Photoshop" does that mean their photos need to be fixed or just enhanced?
So here's some examples of what I'm talking about:

As you can see there's not a HUGE difference. The original picture is not manipulated away. However it's a nice pop of color.
One of the services I provide is enhancing your personal photos. Please contact me on my website "About" page to learn more!
